At Safe Turn Driving School, we understand the importance of convenience.
We are based in Mount Barker in the Adelaide Hills with lessons starting from the Home Maker Centre. However we are more than happy to arrange driving lessons throughout Adelaide Hills. We also offer the option of starting lessons from your home or school, for added convenience.

Welcome to Safe Turn Driving! Locally owned and operated in the Adelaide Hills. We provide tailored driving lessons for all ages and skill levels, with a special focus on preparing you for the VORT. P's-in-a-day
"Easy for you to be fully prepared to pass your VORT after a single day."
We offer a Ps-in-a-day program that consists of six hours of driver training in a day designed to fully prepare you for your test. With three two-hour sessions plus a thirty minute break. With our VORT assessment made priority to these students by a time that suits them.

Hello I am Sammy Wheatley, owner and head instructor at Safe Turn Driving. I have been a local of the Adelaide Hills for over 40 years. I combine years of experience in driver training with a genuine understanding of the challenges young drivers face. As a loving dad of teenagers and a current Senior Firefighter with the Metropolitan Fire Service, I ensure that Safe Turn is the friendliest and most professional driving school in the area, committed to instilling safety and confidence behind the wheel so you can achieve your Ps in a relaxed supportive learning environment.

Our Car
At Safe Turn, we pride ourselves on utilizing advanced training vehicles to ensure a safe and effective learning experience. Our primary vehicle is the 2024 Hyundai Kona Premium, equipped with automatic transmission and a suite of safety features. These include dual controls, dual dash cams with an additional cabin-facing camera, and 360 proximity sensors, all designed to enhance driver training. With our dual-braked systems, students can feel confident as they master their driving skills.
